Ceredigion Flying Start - Helping Me, Helping You - Family support services

What we do

Helping Me Helping You is a 6 week programme of two hours per week. It is facilitated by two trained members of staff. It is a self-help management course which focuses on small achievable goals, which are set each week by parents. Topics covered are finding solutions to problems identified by parents and breaking them down in to small achievable steps. Topics include healthy eating, what we can and cannot control, acceptance of what we can and cannot do. We explore some mindfulness skills to learn how to be in the moment in order to distract our thoughts and to be in the present.
