What we do

Out of School Childcare offers care outside of the child’s full time school day, running before school, after school and during the school holidays for children aged 3 - 11+ years.
Out of School Childcare provides experiences that are rich in play and led by the child, facilitated by qualified Playworkers. Playworkers give children opportunities to play freely in a safe space, boosting their self-esteem and wellbeing and helping them develop a range of life skills.

Who do we support

This is a school based setting providing after school childcare for children who attend Ysgol Acrefair.
Training/ Experience/ Qualifications: Staff have various childcare qualifications, ranging from BEd(hons) to Level 3 Playwork. All staff attend mandatory courses of safeguarding and Food Hygiene and First Aid.

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.
