NPT Youth Service - Family support services

What we do

The Youth Service Families First Team aims to enable young people to gain the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become happy and fulfilled adults and members of their communities, through:
• One to one support for young people aged 11-25 years
• Support specifically for Young Carers aged 5-25
• Targeted groups which include an LGBT group and a Speech and Language support group
• Support and signposting for young people to wider community groups and clubs run by the Youth Service

No

Can anyone use this service?

A referral will be needed for all services and families can refer themselves or be referred by someone who knows the family, like a teacher or Health Visitor. Anyone making a referral for a family must talk to the family about it so that they know what information is being given and the type of support that is being requested.
