What we do

The Hangout is for anyone aged 11-18 years. It’s a place where you can meet other people, access mental health support, find volunteering opportunities, and get involved in groups that could really help boost your mental health and wellbeing.
Our social space where young People can drop in and socialise with other YPs is open every weekday but is split into age groups.

Monday and Thursday 3pm-9pm is our 14-18 year olds social space and Tuesday and Friday 3pm-9pm is 11-13 year olds social space.

On Wednesday we also offer Wellbeing Groups these are again split into age so 11-13 is at 4pm-5pm and 14-18 is at 6pm-7:30pm.

Saturday and Sunday are 1:1s only and for the weekend our opening hours are 12pm-6pm.

1:1s can be booked in regardless of day. 1:1 drop ins can also be on any day too.

Who do we support

The Hangout is aimed at young people aged 11-18 years. Open 3 pm-9 pm daily, including weekends and bank holidays. If you’re working with a young person aged 11-18 that you’d like to refer to us, you can do so by accessing https://platfform.org/
