Fosterline Wales - The Fostering Network in Wales - Family support services
What we do
The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity. We are the essential network for fostering, bringing together everyone who is involved in the lives of fostered children.
Fosterline Wales, is our high quality, bi-lingual information and advice line for current and prospective foster carers, When I’m Ready carers, former foster carers who are special guardians, those who support care leavers, social care professionals and all other members of the public.
This essential, early-intervention service is the only national fostering advice service. It makes a significant contribution to placement stability and permanence, preventing escalation of problems which could otherwise lead to placement breakdown or carers ceasing to foster.
Who do we support
Everyone involved in fostering such as current and prospective foster carers, former foster carers who are special guardians, children and young people in care, fostering services and social workers, personal advisors, other social care practitioners, educational and health professionals and all other members of the public.
