What we do

DangerPoint is an independent charity and life skills activity centre aimed at educating young people about how to avoid risks, accidents, and injuries and to help them stay safe. DangerPoint is a purpose-built education visitor centre with a stimulating, interactive and realistic set of safety scenarios each focusing on a critical environment where safety matters. Visitors can learn about safety in the home, on the road, at the beach, on the internet and much more. DangerPoint exists with the clear objective of equipping children, young people and other vulnerable members of the community with the life skills, behaviours and knowledge to stay safe, avoid unnecessary risks and enjoy healthy lives. DangerPoint is also open during the local school holidays for our Danger Detective Quest and Treasure Hunt as well as special events throughout the year.
