What we do
I provide high quality childcare on a small farm in Bethania which offers endless opportunities for nature activities and learning outside as well as interaction with and caring for animals. A shallow brook provides opportunities for water play exploration and fun.
There is a large enclosed designated area on the setting designed for Forest School Play Activities, which the children have named 'The Woodland Park'. It has trees, a wildflower meadow, an orchard, allotment, cosy log cabin and traditional park play equipment, swings and see saw.
I encourage the children to explore and discover the natural environment by activities such as building dens, adventure walks, arts and crafts using natural materials, mud kitchen play, growing plants, making dams in the brook and more. Sturdy 3 wheeler strollers, easily transport younger children across the fields.
Plenty of experience of caring for children, both as a registered childminder and owner of a private day nursery.
