Campfire Cymru - Children and young people's activities

What we do

Campfire Cymru is a social enterprise providing outdoor and environmental education, including forest school and forest school leader training. Forest school is an inspirational process, offering children and young people opportunities to achieve, developing confidence and self-esteem, through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland environment. We provide a range of programmes in the natural environment including Forest Crew (14-19), Forest Families (whole families), Firekin (therapeutic wilderness for families), Forest Families Parents and Carers. We run sessions in Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire. Our sessions are designed to be comfortable for people identifying as neurodivergent. Several staff are Welsh speakers and we can run some sessions bilingually.

Young people aged 14-19 can join our Forest Crew in Wrexham or Flintshire and gain a level 1 qualification in outdoor learning.
