What we do

We are the largest and longest established transgender support group in the UK, and have developed a support network which has been at the forefront of the trans community since 1966!

As well as being a support network, the society keenly promotes the better awareness and understanding of the conditions of gender variance and gender dysphoria in society, thereby creating and improving tolerance and acceptance of these conditions by a wider public.

Who do we support

We have a website and helpline for those who experience gender dysphoria or gender variance from those who cross-dress occasionally to those who live confidently in a gender different from that they were assigned at birth. We can also support parents of adult children with transgender issues.
