What we do

We are a well established not for profit Community Interest Company Forest School based in Newport, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

Who do we support

We have a wonderful team of people who run Forest School baby groups, toddler groups, home educated family groups, and afterschool clubs. We are also experts in supporting the learning of children with additional needs. 65% of our Forest Schoolers have an additional need. A third have a disability. We are very well regarded among SEND parents and carers in relation to our holistic, child-centered approach to supporting learning.

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.
