Home-Start Conwy - Family support services

What we do

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation which provides support, friendship and practical help to families with at least one child under 14 years of age. Trained volunteers currently provide telephone befriending and home-visiting support and will provide parenting help, emotional support and practical help to parents within the family home and in groups when the situation allows.

Staff and volunteers have completed an enhanced DBS check.

Would be able to provide support through sign language if Home-Start have volunteers with the appropriate skills.

Can anyone use this service?

Referrals are needed from health visitors, family centres, GPs, etc. We also accept self-referrals from the families themselves.
