   This provider is a child minder in  Llandysul.

  This provider has no vacancies for children aged between 3 months and 12 years. I don't have any vacancies at the present time although this can change due familiy circumstances changing. This can sometimes be a short notice. My next anticipated vaccancy will be March 2025.

  This provider is registered for 10 places and is staffed for 10 places.

What we do

Registered childminder with more than 30 years experience.
NNEB qualified but updated training NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development.
NVQ Level 5 in Children's Care Learning and Development advanced practice.
Level 3 play work.
I have worked in Educational establishments during my career.
Updated training (ICP, DCP and ECP) and also studied Child psychology with the Open University.
I have completed on line training with Pacey ('Next Steps', introduction to Autism). I am working towards achieving the Cwlwm Silver Welsh Promise.
I offer home from home care for a small number of children, therefore, offering more individual attention.
I can be flexible for working families after discussion.
I attend local groups with the children and get out and about in the local area as much as possible.
I have a DBS. I am trained in Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Safety.

We are available: all year round. Closed Bank Holidays

We can provide wrap around care.

Thursday 08:00 - 17:30

I aim to be flexible therefore hours are negotiable and discussed with parents although I do not offer care during weekends. I am not registered to offer overnight care in my setting.

  Our costs

  • £4.50 per Hour

We have the following additional costs :

  • £2.00 - Meals for children in my care

The language spoken in our setting is English only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
I can access Support and advice from the Ceredigion Early years ALN lead officer,Flying Sart, Team around the family.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
I have recently received training regarding the ALN code of practice.
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
I have recently received training to gain knowledge for the new ALN code of practice.
