The Parent Network and Community Forum - Caerphilly Borough - Family support services

What we do

We support the community to get together online or in group to take part in a range of activities such as craft, cooking, learning new skills and gaining qualifications.
We help parents and the community to have a voice in shaping local services and policies that impact on them, their families and their communities.
we support decisions to be made with the community and not in the communities.
We host a PlaNet event twice a year for the group members to come together to share information, Celebrate achievements and to have a collective voice.
We also coordinate a community volunteer project.
We signpost parents and the wider community to the services that can offer them appropriate support.
We also have a community champion project individuals have, we offer them training to become a support to others in their own communities.
