What we do

Cylch Meithrin Nelson caters for children aged 2 to 4 years, for 3.5 hours weekday mornings during term time. Cylchoedd Meithrin are Welsh-medium playgroups which give children an opportunity to become bilingual (in English and Welsh). We are a Flying Start setting and also registered for the Childcare Offer for Wales.

Who do we support

Cylch Meithrin Nelson offers a warm, welcoming environment for children whose parents want them to take their first steps into Welsh medium education. We are based in a two-storey building in the centre of Nelson with plenty of opportunities for learning experiences both indoors and outdoors.

We are available: term time only.

We are unable to provide wrap around care.
