What we do

Hello and welcome to Seren Super Stars Preschool. We are an independent playgroup based within Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn in Llandudno. Our aim is to provide children from 2 years old with high quality education through play and provide a safe and secure environment for them to explore a range of exciting activities. Approved registered setting for Early Education / Foundation Phase. We are a registered Charity.

Who do we support

At Seren Super Stars Preschool based in West Shore, Llandudno, we are focused on providing high quality childcare and education. We will do everything we can to meet yours and your children’s expectations. With a variety of exciting activities to choose from, your children will have lots of fun whilst feeling loved, safe and secure in our environment.
We are a Flying Start setting, Estyn & CIW registered and are members of EYW (Early Years Wales).

Can anyone use this service?

Everyone is welcome at Seren-Super-Stars preschool ! All it takes is a phone call or pop in to see us. However if you are in a Flying Start postcode it is best for you to talk to your Health Visitor for a referal to us as this could entitle you to a free placement.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Spring term
  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care. 11.50am to 12 noon where they will be handed over to the lunch team.

Preschool children opening hours are 9.00am to 11.40am. Preschool plus children's hours are from 9.00am to 11.50am at which time they will be handed over to the school lunch team.

  About our service

The language spoken in our setting is English only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
We can access ALN advice and support from Flying Start, Early Years Wales, the Foundation Phase Team and from within the school via their autism units if needed.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
All staff have attended multiple training sessions on ALN and PCP practises.
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
All staff have been on all training that has been made available to us.
