Adoption UK Cymru - Family support services

What we do

Support for adoptive families and adopted adults.

If you live in Wales and are an adoptive parent or thinking about adoption or you support an adoptive family contact our dedicated office. They will put you in touch with your local adoption community co-ordinator and they will tell you about the support available in your area. We also offer training at low or no cost on adoption related topics. Join Adoption UK to access a wide range of on and off line resources and become part of a huge community of adoptive families across the UK. We also provide groups for adopted young people between the ages of 11 and 25.

Who do we support

Adoptive parents and their children and young people, prospective adopters who are being assessed and long term foster carers.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - We charge for some training events and some one to one support services but support groups and family days are free. The helpline is available for anyone touched by adoption.
