Kintsugi Hope Youth Wellbeing Groups (Courses) - Children and young people's activities

What we do

Kintsugi Hope is a national organisation that has a vision to start a movement of wellbeing groups. More info on the organisation can be found at https://www.kintsugihope.com/

Kintsugi is a Japanese technique for repairing broken pots with golden glue, making them more beautiful. These groups encourage participants to stop hiding the scars from life but to make a feature of them.

The groups seek to create safe and supportive spaces where there is no shame and embarrassment in struggling. Also helping participants to find an increase in self-worth, confidence and wellbeing. Whilst providing participants with a deeper understanding of God's love for them and clear pathways for additional support.

The courses can be run online or in person, depending on the needs of those looking to attend. They last for 6 weeks.

Who do we support

The course is for anyone between the age of 11 and 18 who feels that they are struggling and would like the support of others to talk through important areas in life.
It is not for anyone who is currently struggling with severe mental health issues.
