Families First Conwy - Family support services

What we do

The aim of the Families First programme is to help children, young people and families to be healthy and enjoy wellbeing and to enable families to be confident, nurturing, resilient and have healthy relationships. The programme covers:

• Conwy Family Centres: We have five local Family Support Teams in Conwy. Some of these are based in Family Centres. We provide support for families through:
 Access to information and advice
 Groups that are open for anyone to attend
 Targeted groups and courses (for example parenting courses)
 One to one support from a Family Worker
 Access to other specialist support

• Commissioning: Identifying local needs and working with partners to address these needs

• Projects: A number of services are funded under the programme to provide support to vulnerable families across Conwy.
