What we do

Cylch Meithrin Henllan is a friendly Welsh, rural pre-school that has been established for approximately 20 years and has charity status. We promote Welsh Medium through a relaxed and happy atmosphere focusing on “Learning through Play” within a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
We are currently open to all children aged 2yrs - 4 yrs and predominately serve Henllan village and its surrounding areas. Run by a management committee of volunteers we work within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. We follow set policies and procedures supported by Mudiad Meithrin to ensure we continue to operate legally and ethically. Ultimately, we offer our parents/carers friendly, high quality and affordable childcare. Working in partnership with Ysgol Henllan, we can provide full nursery education and wrap around care.
Mission Statement: Cylch Meithrin Henllan encourages each child to develop and flourish through the medium of Welsh in a happy, supportive environment.

  Our costs

  • £5.00 per Hour - Session13.00 - 15.00 = £10

We have the following additional costs :

  • £2.40 - Children attending the Meithrin Mwy session will need to bring a packed lunch with them to school. The school can also provide the Cylch children with lunch at the cost of £2.40 a day. Notice needs to be given on a weekly basis for school lunch and must be paid for in advance
