Youth Worker Schools - Llanfyllin High School - Children and young people's activities


What we do

Every high school has a Youth Worker at least once a week, where pupils are able to access information and advice; as well as providing drop-in sessions we sometimes lead an assembly, or deliver an issue-based group session.

Providing emotional and social well-being support to young people in the school.
This is delivered via 1-1 and group open access sessions.

Who do we support

For young people 11-25 yrs. Focus in school on yrs 7-13.
Transition support for yr 6 in summer term.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Attending the Llogy group costs (after school) £1 towards refreshments and activities.

Can anyone use this service?

Open Access Support does not need a referral. 1-1 support usually arranged by the School Well-being Staff.
