The Cam Nesaf programme aims to work with fathers who are in the pre-contemplative or contemplative stages of the cycle of change in relation to their abusive and/or controlling behaviours.This is a preparation programme for perpetrators of domestic abuse. At the end of the programme we will meet with the dads and their referrer to discuss other programmes that they might find beneficial to their progress of being in a healthy and a non-abusive relationship.During the course fathers will be given the opportunity to:-• Explore the role of fathers as a positive role model for children. • Explore positive healthy relationships between fathers and their children. • Raise awareness of Adverse Childhood experiences and how these impact on children and their future lives. • Raise awareness of fathers regarding their current parenting and any concerns they or others may have.• Consider the support fathers may need to make positive changes to their parenting role.
Fathers who are currently open to Social Services Department in Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire & Flintshire.
