Wrexham Sounds - Music Lessons - Children and young people's activities

What we do

Our core purpose is giving disadvantaged children and young people opportunities to gain confidence and skills and improve their prospects while having fun and expressing themselves.

Wrexham Sounds offers lessons on a wide range of instruments. Our talented tutors can teach you the basics, develop your playing style, broaden your range, or help you achieve higher grades. We coach new groups in ensemble playing, setting up in the studio and recording their music. We also offer lessons in singing, DJing, mixing, song-writing, producing and sharing music.

We deliver a range of accredited courses and are a Learning Destination for Children’s University.

Who do we support

We develop and support children and young people referred to us by schools, charities, local authorities, youth justice, care providers and families. Our facilities offer a safe, nurturing environment where they can express themselves, collaborate and explore their potential.

We also work with vulnerable adults, provide music lessons to children who can’t access them at school and provide a launch pad for school-aged musicians, groups, producers and technicians.
