  This provider has part-time vacancies for children aged between 5 years and 15 years.


What we do

Play Rangers are an opportunity for children to experience a range of play opportunities within a local outdoor environment. Some of our play opportunities include: junk modelling, outdoor games; muddy kitchens; and den building.

Our Play Rangers sessions run on an open access basis within parks and open spaces in varying locations across the Vale of Glamorgan.

Our sessions are aimed at ages five and over - under fives are welcome to attend these sessions, but must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Who do we support

Children and young people aged 5 years+ can attend on an open access basis.
Under 5s are able to attend, but must be accompanied by an adult.

  About our service

The language spoken in our setting is English only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
All of our community play opportunities are inclusive, and staff are able to support children with a wide range of needs. If your child has any needs we need to be aware of, please ensure these are on your registration form and discussed with the Play Leader onsite, so that we can ensure your child has the best possible experience at the session.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
Yes, our qualified playworkers have all undertaken inclusive play training as well as specific training to cater for a range of needs.
Outside space
All sessions are held in parks and open spaces across the Vale of Glamorgan
