YMCA Aber Valley - Children and young people's activities

What we do

We run a variety of young people/children activities in our three times a week Youth Club. We are a Community Asset Facility, used by local groups for meetings and sports in our full size sports hall. We have an IT Suite, Gaming machines, Pool/darts/table Tennis and Air Hockey tables, Fitness Suite, Dance Studio, Pottery and Art rooms and Community meeting rooms. We have Dance, Karate, Sewing and Parenting groups accessing our facility on a daily basis.

Who do we support

We offer a safe welcoming space for Children & Young people, encourage healthy lifestyles to our Community through Sports and Fitness facilities.

We are a CIO, totally independent, and have been established in the Aber Valley, Caerphilly County for over 80 years. We have over 200 members of all ages. We are more of a Community Centre than a Youth Facility as we offer a wide programme of activities for all ages.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Hire of Sports Hall, Meeting rooms, Dance studio. Annual YMCA Membership, Youth Club entry fees.
