What we do
Girlguiding Cymru is an opportunity for girls aged 4+ to learn new things, make new friends and develop new skills. We work to provide all girls, regardless of their situation, with unique experiences, that they may not otherwise have been able to enjoy. We also encourage girls to find their own voice, as our programme invites them to learn more about themselves, their community, and their world. Meeting weekly, girls are able to develop in a safe, girl-centred environment, where they can share their new experiences, and grow to achieve their full potential. Girlguiding Cymru is open to every girl in Wales. If you are worried about how we can support girls with additional needs, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are a flexible, supportive organisation, and are happy to help!
Who do we support
Any girl over the age of 4 is invited to join Girlguiding Cymru! But they are split into different sections: 4-7 - Rainbows 7-10 - Brownies 10-14 - Guides 14-25 - Rangers.
Is there a charge to use this service?
Depends - There can be a subscription charge depending on the individual girl guiding group that is joined. Please contact us for more details.
Can anyone use this service?
Girls can join Girlguiding at any age, whether or not they were members of the previous section. Girls can register to apply by sending an email to: waleshq@girlguiding.org.uk If anyone would like to discuss additional needs, and the ways in which we can support them, please contact us.
