What we do

At Aly’s Little Acorns I plan to support the children to achieve the best possible outcomes by giving them opportunities to learn through play, exploring their natural surroundings and using creative and interesting activities to keep them engaged. I will help the children to feel valued, safe, healthy and confident by observing their likes and dislikes, listening to their concerns and providing opportunities for them to challenge themselves in a safe and secure environment.

Who do we support

I am registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide care for up to 10 children, boys and girls, I am able to care for 10 children under the age of 12 years, this includes 6 children under 8 and no more than 3 of which may be under 5 years old and 2 of these may be under 18 months old. I have previous experience of working with children as I am qualified as a Primary School Teacher with a degree in Primary Education. I also used to offer private tutoring sessions for primary and secondary age pupils too.
I will consider the care of any child no matter their range of needs. I will assess the needs of the child and whether I can accommodate their needs, taking into consideration the needs of the children that I already care for. My service is open to all children and families regardless of their gender, racial origins, culture, religion or family background.

Can anyone use this service?

As long as I have availability and can meet the child’s needs the service is open to all
