What we do

I am a CIW registered child minder. I offer my services from a home-based environment. My aim is to provide a setting that allows children to learn and develop in a safe, secure, happy, fun filled and colourful environment. I plan to assist children with all aspects of development by providing age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, music, reading, stories, and educational games. Outdoor activities will include trips to the park, playgroups, and nature walks. I believe life skills are an important part of child development so all children in my setting will be encouraged to do age-appropriate tasks, for example putting toys away, fastening coats and shoes and clearing the table. At all times manners will always be encouraged. All activities which take place in my setting will be aimed at promoting self-esteem, independence, and confidence. The children will have access to a playroom full of age-appropriate toys, arts, crafts, games and puzzles and a dining room/living room.

Who do we support

All families will be welcome in my home regardless of race, culture, religion, or background. To ensure I could provide appropriate care extra discussions would take place if a child with special needs were to be placed in my setting. All children in my setting will be treated with equal concern and respect.
