Family Pathway - Learning Coach - Education

What we do

Does your child/teen find learning challenging?

Perhaps, they are great at knowing different subjects but then struggle to apply this in school or college?

Is your child/teen falling behind? Maybe they really find studying hard?

Family Pathway supports individuals to learn!

We break down the act of learning and support individuals on tapping into the skills they need to learn.

We provide specialist 1:1 coaching sessions where we identify barriers to learning. We focus on existing strengths and build on these to develop positive habits and skills that are needed for learning. We use meaningful activities which enhances effective learning.

We are client led and together will create a bespoke plan of support, providing your child/teen and you with practical tools and strategies to overcome challenges to learning.

We can also work with yourself and your child's school/college to ensure they are getting the right support.

Who do we support

We work with all learners!

We support a wide spectrum of need, whether they are considered as a “high achiever” or not. Learners may be struggling with difficulty in organisation, completing tasks. These learners often have trouble planning, prioritising, self-regulating, starting tasks and shifting from one task to another.

In addition, we work with adults, parents, children and young people with additional learning needs (ALN) such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

Tailored sessions could be for those that are disorganised and unfocused learners, who struggle with routines and don't know how to study.

We also offer specialist 1:1 academic learning in all areas of mathematics and literacy needs for young people who are struggling to make progress including learners with dyscalculia or dyslexia.
