Girlguiding Clwyd - Children and young people's activities

What we do

Girlguiding Clwyd is part of Girlguiding UK, the country's largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women.

Girlguiding is a very flexible and supportive organisation, and we regularly alter our programme to best suit girls who need extra support. If any parents/guardians would like to learn more about the opportunities Girlguiding can offer, or the ways in which we can ensure each girl has a chance to experience these opportunities.

The Girlguiding County of Clwyd stretches from the North Coast of Wales, South to Corwen and from the English/Welsh border as far as Colwyn Bay.
Clwyd is a County that contains so much. From majestic and ancient mountains, sweeping valleys, down to the Irish Sea. Incorporating many styles, the old and the new – cutting edge business nestled side by side with the tranquil but yet archaic castles.

We are immensely proud of our county and for all that Girguiding achieves in the area.

Who do we support

They go to their first ever sleepover, canoe on rivers, learn about body confidence, lead their own camp, or simply have fun and try new things with girls their age.
Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. They develop the skills and confidence that they need to reach their potential – as students, colleagues, parents, friends and citizens – and become the young women that they want to be.
