Gwasanaeth Gwybodaeth I Deuluoedd - Family Information Service

Both Parents Matter - Family support services

What we do

We help parents and grandparents with child contact problems following divorce or separation. We hold ONLINE support meetings EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING 7pm TO 9pm for registered service users ONLY. At the meetings we provide guided peer-led emotional support as well as the opportunity to obtain FREE one to one legal advice from a Family solicitor. Our meetings are registered with the Law Society's charity Law Works Cymru as a Legal Advice clinic.

For further information about where and when we hold these meetings please see our website.

We also undertake original research and publish information about fatherhood in Wales. We provide the secretariat to the Cross Party Assembly Group on Fathers & Fatherhood - and seek engagement with the public & professionals through our Facebook group.

Who do we support

Parents (mostly dads) & grandparents facing child contact problems either in Private Law (disagreements between parents about arrangements for the child). We help men access Legal Aid for Family Court proceedings.
