  This provider is registered for 10 places and is staffed for 10 places.

What we do

We are registered childminders based in Connah’s Quay.
We mostly work with 2 - 4 year olds to help them get ready for school. We do outings, playgroups, we take them swimming, we do country walks, picnics and parks; we do songs and stories and craft. We have a fun garden, and lots of toys. Most of all we try to engage with the children, and give them experiences that will bring them on.
We provide all food; and in most cases we pick up and drop off within Connah’s Quay.
We do toothbrushing with Designed-To-Smile and are working towards the Healthy and Sustainable Pre-School Award.
Sian can speak Welsh, but it is English that is mostly spoken. We also use Makaton as appropriate.

Who do we support

Primarily we care for children aged between 2 - 4 who live in Connah’s Quay and who are eligible for Flying Start or Childcare Offer funding. We accept children from any nationality, language or background. We are able to look after some children with additional needs. We work from 9am to 4pm Monday, Thursday & Friday during term time.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only. We are open term time only, Monday, Thursday & Friday between 9am-4pm. We close for school holidays and Bank Holidays.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Spring term
  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

We are open 9am - 4pm on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays during term time.
