What we do

We are a well established not-for-profit Community Interest Company Forest School based in Newport, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

Who do we support

We have a wonderful team of people who run Forest School Woodland Playgroups (0-5 years), Home Educated Families Groups (all ages), and afterschool clubs (5+). While we are not an exclusively SEND provision we are experienced specialists in supporting children with additional needs. We are very well regarded among SEND parents and carers in relation to our holistic, child-centered approach to supporting learning.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Woodland Playgroup (0 - 5 years) - £12 per child per session
Home Educated Families Group - £12 per child per session
Afterschool Club - £10 per child per session

All sessions are bookable as blocks only and paid for via a monthly subscription.
